Collaborations have resulted in tsunami impact assessments for a number of the most vulnerable communities along the northwest coast. The aim is to enhance the understanding by providing emergency managers and planners with estimates of likely consequences from such events and provide tools that can be incorporated into effective decision making for planning and response capabilities.
