Subject: Setting up radio work stations and installing radios and aerials were all part of developing the Maroochy Shire Council's new mobile communications vehicle. With the support of the Counter Disaster Committee, Council converted a former mobile library bus into a mobile communications centre that provides two-way radio communications with all emergency services on the Sunshine Coast. These include the Police, Ambulance, Fire and Rescue, Rural Fire Services, State Emergency Services and Maroochy Shire Council.
