Executive summary -- Background to the project -- Overall evaluation design -- Stages of the evaluation process -- Suggestions for the development of emergency management training at EMAI.
This project deals with a training needs assessment (TNA) which was carried out for the Emergency Management Australia Institute (EMAI) in 2001. Suggestions were put forward to inform and guide future directions in education and training programs. The TNA also complemented a concurrent project that examined the impact of the education and training activities on participants and their organisations three to six months after the education and training activity, and supported current evaluation activities at EMAI.
