Agility (owned by AGL) specialises in providing infrastructure management, construction and services to utility assets. It responds to all gas emergencies in NSW, ACT, WA, QLD and the NT. To assist with maintaining their skills, Agility conducts a number of simulation incidents each year to ensure their crews are up-to-date with operating the latest technology. The simulation course includes on field as well as theoretical aspects directly relating to emergency situations. Exercises include: pipeline explosion, minor loss of area, loss of all gas supply to major centre, pipeline damage, pipeline rupture, ethane escape, field examination, loss of response centre and pipeline control centres, system hits (clamp and by pass repairs), gas in duct, ALB fails shut, deployment to trunk to set up for major work, colleague lost on the easement, man down in pit
