The Rapid Screening Procedure (RSP) utilizes a methodology based on a "sidewalk survey" of a building and a Data Collection Form, which an inspector completes based on visual observation of the building. The Data Collection Form includes space for sketches and a photograph of the building, as well as pertinent earthquake safety-related data. This handbook provides the inspector with background information and data required to complete the form
