Subject: Three major reviers flow throught he Barwon Catchment being the Barwon, Leigh and Moorabool rivers, all of which re subject to flooding. There are as well a number of smaller streams that contribute to the effects of flooding on the main tributaries and may themselves, be subject to local flash flooding. These guidelines have been compiled to assist residents to develop a flood plan to enable better preparedness for the next flood.
