Summary: The Disaster education resources for young people and children project was established as a collaborative endevour between Emergency Management Queensland and the Local Government Association of Queensland. This project aimed to develop age-appropriate resources on natural disasters that would provide young people, children and their families with knowledge of what to do before, during and after and event to enhance their individual and community safety. It's objective is to engage the audience and convey risks to personal safety during a range of disasters and give aways to prepare and stay safe.
