This education package has been developed for middle primary school students typically in year four and five throughout Western Australia. The aim of the package is to increase the knowledge of students in preparedness practices during emergency situations that can occur from natural hazards within Western Australia. A fire hazard component has not been included in the package, as the Fire Services division of Fire and Emergency Services Authority (FESA), of Western Australia has developed an education package specific to fire safety, titled "Fire inside out"
