This CD-ROM contains the Mapping, Charting and Geodesy (MC&G) Utility Software Environment (MUSE) Version 1.1, a Defense Mapping Agency (DMA) product designed to provide standard routines to interact with DMA digital data and demonstration mapping software. The MUSE 1.0 CD-ROM includes full source code for DOD and their contractors for development involving DMA digital data sets.

Hard disk requirements include approx. 10 MB of introduction slide show and tutorial images which may be removed after installation and familiarization with MUSE; Mac with CD-ROM, 8 MB of memory, 18 MB of disk space; Sun, Hewlett-Packard, or Silicon Graphics Workstation, with 16 MB of memory, 60 MB of disk space, CD-ROM, X-windows; PC: 80386 or greater processor, DOS 3.3 or greater, MS Windows 3.1, Mouse, CD-ROM, 8 MB of memory, 20 MB disk space
