Review: The Department of Land & Water Conservation (DLWC) commisioned this study to investigate the sensitivity of the constructed levees in the Maitland and Lorn area to variations in flood gradient on the Hunter River. This study has been funded by Emergency Management Australia. Figure 1 shows the locations of the levees investigated in this study.
