This study seeks to develop an understanding of the risks posed by heatwave in South East Queensland. It was initiated by the Disaster Management Coordinator of Brisbane City Council but was subsequently broadened to cover the whole of SEQROC region to support the whole of Government review of heatwave response capabilities commmissioned by State Cabinet and led by Queensland Health.
