Review: The town of Warren is located on the Maquarie River in New South Wales and is protected from flooding by two ring levee systems. One levee surrounds the urban area on the west (left bank) of the river while the other levee surrounds the eastern or right bank urban areas. The objective of the study was to estimate the sensitivity of the flood grandient due to the variability of flood duration, seasonal changes in floodpplain vegetation and development of floodplain.
