On Saturday 12th October 2002 at 2300 hrs 2 bombs exploded within minutes of each other in the popular night spots Paddy's Bar and the Sari Club in the Kuta district of Bali. The Metropolitan Perth Areawide Business Continuity Plan was activated and coordinated from the Royal Perth Hospital (RPH) Command Post to manage the situation. Reuglar metropolitan and RPH management meetings were held to advise of any developments and share information. In total RPH treated 33 patients.
