Utilises multicultural leaders to send the messages to their respective communities on the role of emergency service workers. The program communicates more efficient ways to prepare for emergencies and what to expect from emergency service workers when they respond. This project has had excellent response in engaging with people new to the community utilising community leaders to disperse the response safety messages. A free workshop is being planned (supported by ACT ESA / AFP / DHCS ACT) for October 2009 where emergency services and CALD communities can come together in a forum to share information, ideas and to learn some very important safety messages." -- Website.
