This is an information management and modern information technology based project, its primary purpose being to generate a greater understanding of communities. The information generated by this project for use by emergency service and counter disaster organisations will be presented through a broad range of media. The project provides a database/information centre to which hazard professionals can refer for information regarding the lessons learnt, research methods used, key findings, event and institutions involved in post cyclone surveys conducted within Australia and around the world.
