The Southern Sydney Recovery Task Force (the "Task Force") was formed to facilitate and co-ordinate the second stage of th overall response effort which was the Recovery Phase. It's objectives were: to recover physical infrastructure and buildings to enable the community to return to normal life; to establish the basis for full restoration of the community's physical asset base. Essentially, the responsibility of the Task Force was to ensure the provision of essential power and a weatherproof shelter - a basic skin - to all affected properties. This report describes what the processes were that lead to the fulfilment of the objectives.
