Subject: The GeoInsight project was the result of combining expertise from several agencies with those of the ACT Emergency Services Bureau in an Australian Government funded exercise aimed at increasing use of spatial data across the emergency management industry. The GeoInsight Steering Committee was made up of representatives from such organisations as the Bureau of Meteorology, Geoscience Australia, the Spatial Information Council Emergency Management Australia and the Australian National University.
