Review: The Bunbury/Wellington Group of Councils was successful in obtaining a grant from the FESA AWARE program to conduct an emergency risk management project for the region. This project was to increase the awareness of emergency risk management in a regional local government context. The project included, surveying the community for their perceptions of emergency risk, provide training for local government employees and the writing of an emergency risk management report.
