Entrant : Safer Communities Awards 2003
This video has been produced by the Northern Territory Emergency Service with the financial assistance of Emergency Management Australia under their mitigation projects grant fund. The aim of the video is to increase and reinforce natural hazard awareness in remote Top End communities that are prone to cyclone, flooding and prolonged isolation during the Wet season. In addition, the important subjects of bush and domestic fire hazards are addressed, thus making the video appropriate for all year screening.
