The NSW Fire Brigades has initiated a number of programs to reduce fire fatalities in the home. Over the past few years a number of smoke alarm campaigns have been initiated including programs involving other government organisations such as the NSW Departments of Health and Housing together with local fire stations promoting smoke alarms and fire safety.
