Entrant : Safer Communities Awards 2002
By January 2002, Energex had achieved its objective of providing a faster and more consistent approach in emergency situations. This achievement is mostly due to the reduction in process time from the initial contact with the customer to the arrival of a rapid response crew on-site. Other benefits delivered by the strategy include better communication with the public during an emergency situation and providing services with a single point of contact.
