Subject: Parramatta City Council was able to effectively mobilise a number of personnel both on the ground and within Council offices to deal with the physical damage to the environment, the risks to public safety, and the enquiries from the general public in relation to these issues. Council's establishment of a temporary call centre enabled enquiries to be handled quickly and efficiently so that dangerous situations could be assessed and rectified in the shortest time possible.
