Subject: This study was undertaken to enhance the level of information available to the residents of the Shire of Roebourne on the likely impact possible from storm surge inundation associated with the impact of a severe tropical cyclone. The study has produced an interactive display using results from an extensive storm surge modelling program carried out in the area. The resultant mapping enables storm surge levels to be predicted at any point on a 100 metre grid across all of the towns located in the Shire.
