Subject: On Easter Monday, 20 April 1908, two trains colloded at Sunshine Railway Atation. Forty-four people lost their lives and until the Granville train crash, this was Australia's worst rail disaster. Well-known and respected railway historian, Tom Rigg, sets the scene prior to the crash. Tom goes on to describe the collision, the working conditions of the staff and the inquest and investigations.
