Review: The SES is Queensland's primary response agency for storm and flood emergencies. Prior to the introduction of this initiative there were more than 1200 telephone numbers across the state to contact the SES. The introduction of the 132 500 SES Telephone Number into Queensland rpovided a single point of public contact for this emergency service. SES integrated the number with Smart Service Queensland (SSQ) to enable a 24/7 consistent, cost effective and sustainable solution to existing issues.The accompanying CD-ROM has copies of television ads that were used to promote the system. The print material gives details of other parts of the campaign.
