The purpose of the workshop was to bring together a wide range of participants with an interest in disaster recovery to discuss the implementation of impact assessment following a disaster. During the workshop, participants explored the information required to effectively implement disaster recovery over short, medium, and longer timeframes, and across the dimensions of environmental, psychosocial, economic, and infrastructure recovery. Invited speakers provided insights. The report presents a series of observations including the relevance to the dimensions of recovery, the changes associated with longer timeframes, and the future for impact assessment in collaboration with the array of stakeholders.
