Between 6th and July 1993, South Dakota was struck by severe storms, tornadoes and flooding. The Inter-Agency Hazard Mitigation Team was convened in order to identify, address and make recommendations on a range of specific mitigation actions, to be addressed by Federal, State and local agencies during the reconstruction and recovery process.
