In response to the June 11, 1993 Disaster Declaration for continuous severe storms, flooding and tornadoes in May, June & July 1993
Between 6th and 19th May 1993, Southwestern Minnesota was struck by severe storms, tornadoes and flooding. The Inter-Agency Hazard Mitigation Team was convened in order to identify, address and make recommendations on a range of specific mitigation actions, to be addressed by Federal, State and local agencies during the reconstruction and recovery process
