The survey team was activated on February 19, 1993, as a result of Typhoon Omar. The report amends the 1992 Territory Hazard Mitigation Plan, and offers Mitigation Projects to be undertaken by various government agencies. The highest priority projects are: install backup generators on water wells and pumps, harden secondary electrical distribution system, coordinate undergrounding, construct site specific flood control programs, enhance radio repeaters, purchase agricultural shredder, upgrade wind standards for design, retrofit school buildings
