Within the city of Doncaster/Templestowe the rains resulted in flooding throughout the area with varying severity. H&CS responded to calls for assistance at this time. It was later suggested that a study take place to assess H&CS response to the Doncaster/Templestowe floods. The report is the result of a research proposal to assess the support and recovery function in relation to H&CS role as the principal recovery agency under the State Disaster Recovery Plan
