This effort has been organised as committee F-30 on emergency medical services of the American Society for the Testing of Materials (ASTM), and has entailed a major involvement on the part of a full range of EMS professionals, including private sector individuals and federal, state and local officials. This is a review document which is working towards developing a good, workable guidelines for local mass casualty response planning
