Subject: A Tropical Cyclone may be defined as a low pressure centre which develops in tropical latitudes and intensifies so that it becomes an enclosed circulation with steep pressure gradients causing wind speeds to reach 63 km per hr (32 metres per sec) or more and with rain bands spiralling toward the centre of the storm.
