This is followed by a section which gives a brief overview of each of the disaster events to be compared (Mt. St. Helens; Flood-Valley, Fillmore and Snoqualmie; and Three Mile Island). The next two chapters address, in turn, comparisons of warning source credibility and evacuation decision-making among the nuclear and nonnuclear threats. Finally, the last chapter examines the implictions of the findings for the problem of evacuation planning .550.
